Stekkjastaur: ornament made for “Styrktafélag lamaðar og fatlaðra” “rehabilitation center”

We are happy to have donated our work on designing the 🎅 “Stekkjastaur” and Dagur Hjartason made the poem to “Stekkjastaur”  one of 13 brothers. The donation goes to sfls rehabilitation center for children in Iceland.; http://www.slf.is/is/in-english

The first one of them was called Stekkjarstaur/Stekkjastaur = sheep-cote clod). He had two wooden legs or peg legs which may have made him slow to move but he still found all the energy to harass sheep that had been brought in for the winter. Old Icelandic houses were linked to the barn so the sheep running around in panic would be easily heard through the house.MATERIAL:

Product Description:

The prices to EPTA in Iceland. 

The  final 🏆 Piano prices “The seven seas sailing instrument” at EPTAiceland European Piano Teachers Association competition held 24th-25th November in Harpa Concert Hall Inspired by the instruments piano, organ and harp, the Viking ships and the Columns basalt stone you can find around in Iceland and in Hallgrimskirkja.

Materials:

Made with smoked oak and messing.

Measurements:

5 x 10 x 30 cm
